Temple Square and Parallel Parking

This Saturday was a wonderful Saturday. We woke up and got ready to go up to Salt Lake City to see Kimber come out of the Temple.

(Kimber is sister to Katie Hamson whom is best friends with Jessica. Kimber is also my former intermural soccer team member along with Katie.) We talked to Louie and Katie about this and that and generally admired the splendor when Kimber and her new husband came out. As we were watching who showed up but Nicole and Wren. Both of whom are friends with Kimber, Katie and Jessica. Then who else walks by but Nicole's sister. Wow, I'm think that if you really want to see someone you should just hang out at temple square all day. So then we go to the Lion House which has really good food. Jessica tells me to brave the rain and go get the camera out of the car. (This is why we don't have any temple pictures)  So I run over to the car to get the camera and find this:

*Oh, that guy is close!

*That doesn't look right!

*HEY GET OFF MY CAR!!

So I called the Police and my insurance agent. The police show up, run the plate, and give me the phone number to call the guy who has placed his bumper squarely on Phoenix's nose! (That's our car's name) I leave a message.

 We didn't want to wait all day so we called Amy and Curt. We hung out with them for over an hour, God bless you, and then they drove us back. The guy left his insurance info so now we might get a new bumper! And a rental car...which we might have to drive to Boise. We'll see...

Oh and the camera? It was in Jessica's bag the whole time that we were at the temple.

Jessica Got Hit On!!

It happened at the Orem Recreation Center Basketball Court.

So I went to go get a drink and sit down and watch another game while Jessica shot some free throws. I watch this guy head over there. I'm thinking I have nothing to worry about because at worst she could come over to me, right? She is smiling and he shoots the ball a few times and she does too, but most of my attention is talking with a new friend and the game in-front of us. After a few shots with the ball, he leaves and then Jessica gets her stuff and comes over to me. I'm thinking nothing about the encounter, but Jessica is in a panic and tell me that I was suppose to save her cause, "He was hitting on me the whole time!" He kinda looked like this:

Raser Technologies

They say it will get 100 MPG with a nightly plug-in.  Can't wait till these are common-place.

Rock Band Could Be Better

 Well this is going to spread like wildfire after I do this, but remember who came up with the idea first. Yesterday I sent and e-mail to Rock Band. In essence I told them that they need to market to all the small bands. The small bands can upload their song, or songs, and for a price convert them to rock band format. Then Friends, Family, and/or Fans can download the song for a price and play along. Both ways the copany makes a little on the side.
